I love my wife
she was at work yesterday (she works for an insurance company) and one of her fellow employees came to work bitching about a law that had been enacted in GA ( we live right on the border of TN/GA/AL ) that it will be legal to carry a gun with you in a buisness that serves alcohol. anyways the guy keeps bitching " great now some psychotic crazy @$$ moron can go into any beer joint and shoot somebody " my wife says " if theyre really psychotic , and crazy they arent going to care about any law that says they cant carry a gun , much less care about shooting you or anyone else they want right? the guy studders and and say he never thaught of it like that. im thankful to have a wife that not only understands my love of firearms and shooting but loves those things as well.

I think the mentality of people like your wife's co-worker is that somehow people who carry guns are somehow less stable, and while lawabiding, will be easily set off by someone and go berserk when provoked.
The reality is just as you say, people who are legally carrying and who actually respect the law are going to be conscious of their responsibility and will not be drinking in the first place. Just knowing that you might get in a situation that could lead to having to use your weapon causes you to avoid and descalate those confrontations. |

she is very quick and a little stubborn
as she says the only ones gun laws hurt are the people that follow the laws not the criminals. im a lucky guy to have her.
