Wink The Wife....

Saturday morning I got up early, dressed quietly, made my lunch and then slipped quietly into the garage to hook up the boat to the truck, and proceed to back out into a torrential downpour.

The wind was blowing 50 knots, I pulled back into the garage, turned on the radio, and discovered the weather would be bad throughout the day. I went back into the house, quietly undressed and slipped back into bed.

There I cuddled up to my wife's back, now with a different anticipation and whispered, "The weather out there is terrible."

My loving wife of twenty-six years replied, "Can you believe my stupid husband is out fishing in this ****?"

I still don't know if she was joking....

I'm sorry if you can't tell if she was joking or not but I'm glad I wasn't drinking anything while reading this.

Here's a question did anyone try getting into the house while you were there, or did she try to get to a phone after saying that.

If not your fine and she was messing around with you because you were leaving her alone in the middle of the morning to go fishing and probably weren't as quite as you thought you were. Sounds like she has a good sense of humor.(I love jokes like this)

Old joke, still funny though, and great delivery. Had me laughing again.

Yea, I am never sure when my sweet wife of 23 years is sleeping or not, I think she likes it that way. The women have all the control!!
