Oh come on Jeff, this has been great fun beating up on you about your choices in fine eating establishments! I haven't seen one response saying don't pick on my kid so we all agree that kids have gone wild, a huge # of parents should have taken a test before having kids and I think we have a consensus that Cici's sucks. That only leaves you to pick on.

Heck, if you like Cici's or it's close you should keep going and try to teach these little ankle biters and parents some manners! My wife is not around, someone has to do it!

For the record, I don't mind CiCi's. If there was one closer to my house than the other chain stores I would eat there. As a rule, I try to stick with local pizza shops because there are several good ones here.

One thing that really irks me about parent qualification is the adoption process. Any two druggies can get together and have a kid; the government will even pay for it. A kid can be put up for adoption (possibly the druggies' kid above) and there are suddenly a long list of rules other than provide a loving home. My brother-in-law and his wife can't have kids, so they looked into adoption. HA! What a joke. They have kids on a waiting list to be adopted AND they have parents on a waiting list to adopt. Sounds like a match made in heaven, but if you aren't wealthy you aren't worthy of this little kid who doesn't know the difference anyway.

Cici's....

I consider a vasectomy every time I get within 100 yards of that place.

Agree with that. My brother and sister-in-law are in the same boat. Been trying to adopt for 3 years, done all the home studies, been certified by everyone, spent over 25k, and are still waiting. He is a Navy Officer and has a TS clearance, but that is irrelevant to that part of the government. What sent him over the edge is that their fingerprints expired and he had to go back to INS and get them redone??? How does a fingerprint expire?

Being a Naval officer probably hurts them because he might be away from home for long periods of time and there won't be a good father figure around in his absense.
