Thats got to be stressful. Having kids a second round without the 9 months to get ready for it, hang in there, they should relax after a bit. Make them know the rules, and then just take them to do stuff. The simple things work best (walk/bike ride to get ice cream even the worst kids love it)

The good news (hard to find a silver lining) is you're now aware of the medical issue and can hopefully do something to extend your life- lifestyle, diet, exercise, maybe surgery. We're all going to see Him one day, only the good Lord knows the moment in His grand plan.
