Where is that post that compares girlfriends and guns? I would never do it. I'd never want to live in Illinois period due to their views on firearms. Why don't you live just over the border, like Munster, Indiana (awesome brewery there) and then just do the 15-20min comute?

If you will work in chicago live in like Maryville, In and use the sky way. ANd liveing in Chicago right now it depends on the size of the mag (no larger then a 6 rds) and no assalt riffles.

i dont know guys... as much as i love guns and all, it just doesn't compare to the love of a woman.
maybe you should really think about how much this girl means to you. if you feel you can't give up your collection of guns b/c a girl wants you to move... then to me, it means you don't love her enough to take that kind of step towards the relationship. also, if being in chicago puts you in a better place for yourself and your future, then why are you going to let your guns hold you back. if being where you are now and being able to keep your guns is what makes you 100% happy... then you should just break it off with her. i personally would have to weigh in all the factors, but what it comes down to for me is... affection, love, companionship is greater than firearms or anything that's inanimate.
