To the OP: Congrats, taking those courses are great, even for experienced shooters. There's no such thing as too much training. As for what gun to get, I say get what you like, not your instructor. I can say that my XDs have never given me a problem, though.
Those acronyms will get you every time! I think the OP was referring to his Concealed Pistol License course, as I don't remember being able to bring my own guns to Cpl's Course! |
