Smile So I bought two in the last four days.

Yesterday I picked me up a XD40 sub-compact with Trijicon sights.
A couple of days earlier I nabbed a Savage 110 in 30-06.

So needless to say the wife had a meltdown tonight.... She wants to spend money on the house, as do I, but thinks the gun buying is overboard. This is after we got home from a night out to dinner and a movie.... We saw Iron Man, a good movie, she even liked it. I guess she will get over it. She has no choice!

So here are some pics of the new children.

My XD40 service with the new SC:

I really like the night sights! I put a mag through it out back tonight!

Savage 110 and XD40SC

Accutrigger, very very nice trigger

Very nice purchases. You will love the SC, it really does make a nice addition to the Service model. That Savage looks very nice as well. I have been wanting to get my hands on one and try the AccuTrigger. It seems that Savage has some offerings that are really challenging the 700 series, especially for the price. What type of glass do you have mounted there?

I have a Savage 110 in .270. I removed the Simmons scope it came with when I found a great deal on a Bushnell Elite 3200.
I love the rifle. The Accu-Trigger is incredible. I have a 700 as well, but like the Savage more.
Congrats on the purchases. I bought three in one month one time and was accused by my bride of having a "sickness!"

I got my AR-15 and my XD9tac in the same week. However, I do not have the handcuffs that prevent me from spending my money. Just remember, it's easier to get forgiveness than permission.

I bought my son a Savage 110 in 7mm-08. Very nice rifle and a nice little caliber. I may get one for myself.

Kent,

If it ever gets too bad you can always use my safe to store your firearms!

Sincerely,
Will

Thanks!

As for the scope, it only has the cheap-o Simmons on there that came with it. I'll be upgrading the scope for sure. It will be a bit though.
