Chili con carne (often known simply as chili) is a spicy stew-like dish. The essential ingredients are chili peppers and meat. Variations, either geographic or by personal preference, often include tomatoes, onions, garlic, cumin, beans, and other ingredients. The name "chili con carne" is a slight corruption of the Spanish chile con carne, which means peppers with meat. Chili con carne is the official dish of the U.S. state of Texas as it was originally a Spanish/Mexican province/state.

I make big batches so scale down to you're likeing
4lbs ground beef 2 Big Cans of Mrs. Grimes Chilli Beans 2 Cans Corn 2 Cans Whole tomatos 1 Green Bell Pepper sliced 1 Red Bell Pepper sliced 1-2 diced onion 2-4 minced garlic cloves Several Jalapeno's (jarred or sliced) pour some jalapeno juice in if using jarred 2 packets of chilli seasoning salt to taste seasoned peper to taste Garlic salt to taste (can replace regular salt) a few squirts of Tabasco Cook Beef (drain fat if desired) add chilli beans and over the course of 15-min to half hour add each ingredient in any order (but beans always first) also season the beef while cooking and also add the seasonings after adding some of the indgredients. Becarefull when stirring not to burst whole tomatos, let those naturally wither and split. Let it simmer to low heat for at least 6 hours before serving, it's usually better if you cook it all day on a saturday then let it set over night and warm it back up sunday to eat.

Mine does and always will. If there aren't anybeans and other ingredients you are essentially eating spicy sloppy joes with a spoon.

Wow, that's the basis FOR chili. What it shouldn't never ever ever have is noodles or any kind of pasta in it.
