Toyota's are overrated piles of chit. Sure they look and feel nice, but that damn company cuts corners in all the places you don't see. The Tacoma is perhaps the best of the Toyota's, and is probably the best in that truck size. But otherwise, I'd stick with Chevy or Ford. Keep Americans employed, keep American auto makers afloat, and keep your hard-earned $$$ in America if you can. Just my honest opinion. Unless you like driving tin-cans.

well this tacoma is gonna be built in Kentucky by american hands

i have an 05 colorado, 3 years old in august -- so far its been in the shop more than my last 3 cars COMBINED.

i've had good luck with Ford, but the strikes are throwing me off.....

plus, i know a lot of people that have Tacomas- and well, theyve had to come pick me from the side of the road a couple times, but ive never got the call to pick them up.

if ford/chevy made a truck that was quality comparable id buy it..

even my g-pa ( who has a slight grudge against the Japs, Semper Fi!) has started to look at replacing his chevy with a toyota.

Ive had good luck with my truck until i started messing with it..
but im the one that always gets to tow my friends home..

funnest one was a Mustang Cobra at the drag strip... beat him twice then on his third pass the rear diff let go... i towed him all humiliated..

I see it as, they are all machines, they are goin to fail at one point.
But the Tacomas are a pretty good truck. never heard anything bad about them.
