Nothing till July 4 for me, according to the schedule. No biggie though.

Am I the only one that thinks they ought to call them "Economy Titillation Checks"? When you get down to it, the money won't be much more than a tease on a national scale.

That my friend is what having multiple accounts and instant online transfers is good for. Besides why would our govt take money from us when they have an open line of credit with China .

If the government wants to seize your assets, they don't need you to have used direct deposit. They can simply look up your social security number, find your accounts, and seize the assets.

My friend had a bank account that he opened over 15 years ago, when he was still a minor. His dad's name was also on his bank account, because he had helped him open it (as a minor). Well Pops isn't so smart, and has made a lot of really poor business decisions, and now owes the state of California over $20,000.00. My buddy has about $15,000.00 in the bank one day, and the next day, it's ALL GONE! Why? The State of Kalifornia decided that they didn't want to wait anymore for back taxes, so they stole them from my buddy's account.

Since his dad's name was on the account, there was nothing he could do to stop them. Now he gets to fight the state in court to get his money back... And you can bet your bottom dollar he's not gonna win THAT fight. He's gonna have to get his money back from Pops... If he can.
