New member of my family
So a couple weeks ago I realized that all my semi-auto handguns are polymer. Obviously I don't have a problem with polymer frame handguns, but once I realized it, I decided I was bored. I do have three revolvers (two stainless and one blued), but I decided I needed an all metal semi-auto. I've owned one other 1911 in the past (sold it, I don't know why) and I decided almost instantly that I needed another 1911.
I searched local gunshops and the internet, I decided on a used Kimber Classic Custom Stainless. I bought it from a local shop were I get all my reloading suplies, so I knew the owners and got an awesome price. I bought it Saturday morning and went straight to the range from the shop, and put 300 rounds through it, with out a single failure. My very first round through the gun was at a bowling pin at 40 yards, the pin went flying! You should have seen the smile on my face. Just wanted to share my excitement. It's been two days, and I can't stop thinking about it. Kory. http://www.glocktalk.com/attachment....postid=4529838 |
