A good reminder Ed! I don't agree with everything that has come out of the NRA, but they have done some good for our rights. I am a proud member.

My girlfriend and I signed up the same day.

They still haven't sent me any magazines though...
I've called a few times.

Meh. I don't mind I didn't do it for the magazines.

Been a member for a few years. I think overall they are very helpful to American gun owners.

My father got me to join up 3 years ago. He's been a Life member for many years, and they had a reduced-price membership drive for the Life memberships. I went for it, and last year upgraded to Endowment membership.
I also disagree with some of the policies they've promoted, but they're the biggest PAC in the beltway that's in favor of private gun ownership. They can count on my support until this fight's over.

Try telephoning again please and let them
know about the magazine problem. I would
suggest that you tell them that you want to
be compensated for not receiving the mags
by extending your subscription by the number
of months that they have been tardy. They
are understanding.

Overall, I also agree that there is room for
improvement, but the NRA still has the best
track record. I like American Rifleman also.
