I can't wait for the Griffin/Jackson fight! It ought to be a real knock down, drag out fight.

GSP dominated Serra. He beat him on the mat, he beat him standing up. It was a decisive win for sure.

Franklin looked pretty good, but didn't real have the opportunity to look great because Lutter looked so bad in round 2. It almost looked like Franklin was being merciful because he could have taken Lutter out a LOT quicker.

Bisping look pretty good. I liked him a lot in the Ultimate Fighter season, but he is getting more and more cocky and thuggish which is starting to turn me off.

All in all, it was a good night of fights to watch.

This is why I say that Franklin looked good but not great. Given how bad Lutter looked, Franklin should have finished the fight much quicker. I'm actually disappointed that he couldn't find a way to finish the fight sooner.

I'd still like to see him up against a quality middleweight before I give him more credit as a top fighter.

Eh, what did you think of the Starnes v. Quarry debacle. In part, that's what pulled it down to a B- for me.

I watch every ufc on ppv every month and i agree that this card was a B at best! Gsp looked great and did what he should have done the first time! props to franklin for escaping that armbar attempt. shame on lutter for having crappy conditioning! i agree with Pugs that i wont jump on the Bisping bandwagon until i see him fight a good MW! ive never really been a big fan of his anyway! ill make a predicgtion tho! Bisping may have one mroe MW fight and if he wins im calling a Bisping Vs fanklin fight in the future! A combination of bisping, franklion and henderson will be the big MW fights int he future tho i could care less about a Franklin vs Silva 3! No one has mentioned Mac Danzigs win! i thought he looked pretty good! ill assume he had some post TUF jitters resulting in his "pretty good" performance and nto "great"

ill shut up now

My impressions:

- GSP looked brilliant.
- Franklin looked good, not great.
- Bisbing looked better at 185, but I want to see him against a good middleweight before I jump on his band wagon.
- Starnes should be banned from every MMA organization for the rest of his life.
- Quarry salvaged that debacle with his antics which made the last 1:30 or so of the fight a little amusing to watch. Loved the Rocky IV speech.
- I can't stand Kenny Florian as a fighter (he's a cheatin' buster) and as an announcer I was okay with him until he started spouting his man-love for Serra. There are few things that bug me more than that level of unabashed bias from an announcer.

Overall, it was an okay card. I loved seeing Franklin and GSP win, but overall, the card was about a B- for me.

Pretty much my thoughts as well. I've been a huge GSP fan for awhile now and he looks to be in the top for a long time. Bisping looked phenomenal and the weight cut did him good. He looked like an energizer bunny on crack. Kalib should never be allowed to fight again in the UFC. I don't give a rats ass what his excuse is.

In case anyone missed it.

I'm bitter that Serra lost. I was so excited when he won the first fight, I thought there was no way. And yet, he won. I will blame his bad back for the loss (in true blind fanboy fashion).

I actually forgot all about this until this morning when I saw the post on an MMA messageboard discussing the outcomes.

It wasn't really showboating though. He was trying to fight. The sad part of that clip is that Kalib was still backing up. If anything Nate was just frustrated.

And this is coming from a guy that hates showboaters as well. It took me a long time to like Rashad Evans after that display on the show. Bisping seemed far more humble after his fight and that made me happy because his arrogance was irritating.

It was funny as hell, but I don't think that it was showboating at all. At that point, it was pure frustration and an attempt to get anything at all going in the fight. He spent three rounds with his opponent running from him and refusing to engage. At that point pi$$ing Starnes off wasn't even enough to get Starnes to take a swing at him.

I don't fault Quarry at all for anything in that fight. If you call it a fight, that is.
