I know you all are going to grill me on using E Tape ( ill clean the crap off when i fix it ).. but before i went back to korea a year ago i was shooting my 500 and the fore grip comes off during use.. turns out im missing whatever goes in these holes...
I rigged it with paper clips and tape but if any could tell me what goes in there ( if you own a 500A with a fore grip ) and where to buy it..

I'll check mine out when I get home. I MAY even have an extra foregrip(not pistol) if you need it.

I got the stock grip but no matter what im going to need that piece since this is the "base" piece that all the grips rid on.. im thinking i might have to take it to a smith if i can rig something a little better..

I can't see that spot very well unless I take it apart but It looks like it's rivots or screws. I'd check Brownells.com. They have lots of Mossberg parts.

I'm in the library but my maverick 88 I assume is the same has a flared out rivet bolt thing. Not quite a rivet looks like a sheared rod. Looked to me like you'd have to do whatever they did not just pop in a part. Repost in the morning if I'm wrong.

damn.. i guess jimmy rig until i can get a smith to make a "ring" that would fit it
