im curious about that ccw in bars in colorado as well. I have never heard of that, I'll ask a few guys in my national guard unit who are leo's this weekend and get back to you guys.
And yes, alcohol and weapons are never a good mix, I was just curious if the governments of other states thought so as well. |

In VA you it is illegal to CC in an establishment that serves alcohol, but you can LEGALLY OC in that same establishment and consume alcohol. Interestingly the Governor recently vetoed a bill that would have allowed CC in those same establishements if CC holders did not consume alcohol stating that alcohol and guns don't mix.

in NV, if you are sober enough to drive (.08bac) you are sober enough to CCW. i dont agree with this, but thats what it is. the law about carrying in an establishment that serves alcohol is fuzzy, but there is a "no loitering" rule when you are CCW. so basically, you can carry into a bar if you wont be hanging out (loitering).
i for one dont drink and CCW. |
