Never seen a black BP agent but most I come across are hispanics. I am sure there are some...maybe at the northern border crossings. Coming from Ohio, the heat of the border might shock you more than the physical training.

I have a good friend that has a son in the BP and its actually a very good job. He likes what he does and he serves at ground zero in the Marfa, TX station. The situation that Ramos and Compean ran into DOES have them all a bit nervous even to this day.
