Got Salsa???

I am looking for a Salsa recipe. Its the same salsa that every other Mexican Restaurant has. I don't want the CHUNKY salsa, but the hot red salsa. I cant find it in the store, or a recipe. All I find is frickin chucky. It has the consistency of enchilada sauce, but it usually is hotter and has jalapeņo seeds. If any one wants to share there recipe I would like to know. But please NO CHUNKY SALSA recipes, I have a ton of those LOL.

Thanks!!
BRING ON THE SALSA!!!!

I'm with you on the chunky Salsa, I don't care for that thick gooey sweet stuff.

Now that our garden is starting to come in we just take whatever we have, like squash or cukes, and cut it up with a lot of tomatoes, onions, garlic and fresh pepper to taste, maybe a little cilantro if it's handy. If it needs some juice we might add a dash of vinegar or lime juice.

We don't have a set recipe - it's just trial and error - until we get it like we want it.

I mostly make and eat salsa fresca. No cooking, just fresh vegetables and herbs and maybe some lime juice. That's good stuff.

OK, tonight must be recipe night...

2 cans Rotel tomatos and green chilis
1 large fresh tomato, diced
1 bunch green onions, sliced
fresh cilantro to taste
2 large cloves garlic, diced fine
2 limes (juice and I like to add some of the pulp as well)
4 jalapeno's diced fine
2 habenaro's diced fine
salt to taste

chop, slice, dice, all ingredients
place all in blender except tomato
blend until desired consistency is met
add fresh tomato to mixture and blend on pulse a couple times

Add chips and beer...lots of both...and enjoy!
