Gas or Charcoal?
So anyone grilling today? I much prefer charcoal over gas, but thought I would see what everyone else is using.
Today I'm going to cook an entire pork loin over indirect heat for an hour or so, seasoned with a rub. What's everyone else grilling today??

Using my new Weber Gas grill for the first time. It has taken me 3 new barbeques to get one that works properly. I will be bbqing one of the smart as*ed kids in the neighborhood.
Actually, probably burgers. |

Charcoal all the way! I just like getting them started ( fire fire!!! ) and the wonderfull smell it emits. Quite pleasing. Food just tastes better with charcoal.
I am guilty, however, for using propane. |

If I only grilled stuff occasionally I would probably still use charcoal. But living in Fl and grilling 2-3 days a week year round, I use gas.

Although I prefer charcoal, I currently have a gas grill. When this one finally become un-repairable, I am going back to charcoal.

Gas because you can actually USE it without planning it out ahead of time.
I got a smoke box so I can put the wood chips in there, smells nice. |
