How do you do gun sales online if not a dealer?
Kind of a newb question... but I was wondering what you have to do in order to complete gun sales online if you aren't an FFL dealer yourself? I've got a Glock 17 9mm, S&W .357 magnum, and possibly a .270 Winchester model 70 that I want to sell but don't want to do anything illegal. I can't even list them for sale yet because I haven't been a member for 30 days, but just want to be prepared for when I can post them for sale.

i sell all my guns in a local paper in their online classifides its free and since its local i can just sell the gun to the person if we meet face to face and their is no paper work required. but each states laws are different this is for idaho and only idaho |

I believe If your shipping, it out of state you'll have to get an FFL to send it to the Buyers FFL for transfer if they are not an FFL themselves, Most shops will do this for a small fee $25 or so. I've never sold online, but have bought plenty and thats how it went for me. If you meet the buyer face to face it just follows your states laws like any other sale.
