Learning new things which is the very reason I have purchased a handgun (well, at least one of the reasons). Nearly three years ago I decided to learn how to ride a motorcycle at age 66. In the 32 mos. since I have ridden 47K miles including two cross country trips and one to FL, all solo.
I get stale if I stay with one thing with any intensity for very long. Therefore there are many things that interest me. If there is any thing I supppose I have stayed with long term, it is exercising and trying to be fit/healthy. It really helps to counteract my arthritis. I never want to stop learning! LS

Alright another flyfisher! I am brand new to shooting but flyfishing is my love. I prefer river bassin and collecting and restoring/fixing vintage fly reels. 45Dave, maybe we can do a couple of swaps
