Taser says it sues USA Today for libel

Does anyone have the context of the origional story? USA today modified their online version claiming it was:

Correction: Due to a mathematical error, the original version of this story significantly overstated the amount of electricity delivered by a Taser. The amount is a minuscule fraction of the electricity used by the electric chair. The electricity produced by a Taser is less than that delivered by electroshock therapy used to treat pain and depression.

I can only imagine it compared a Taser to being shown next to an electric chair saying it was 2500 volts compared to the 50,000 of the Taser, completely ignoreing amperage.
