I have a super tuck and have had another crossbreed holster and have NEVER had a problem with retention. It has always been just right, not too tight, but not too loose. You have absolutely nothing to worry about with this holster. Buy with 100% confidence. If you have any questions, call up Mark at Crossbreed and ask him. He's a stand up guy with a great product.

I'm probably going to sound like an ass for saying this (it has happened before).
So please don't take it personally.
If you are really concerned about holster wear on your high $$$ Kimber Eclipse (carry gun),
perhaps you should keep her as a range gun and carry something you don't mind getting a little daily wear on.
I feel any holster, leather or kydex is going to put some wear on that slide.
I had an electroless nickel Sig P229 that I thought was to pretty to carry.

It turned into a safe queen.
I sold it and bought 2 XDs.
So I'm talking from my experiences,
I'm not trying to pick on you.....

And as to your OP, I've used two Crossbreed holsters and never had a problem with retention.

I couldn't be happier with the hold of my Supertuck. Just yesterday I was wearing my IWB Supertuck, outside of a tucked in shirt. (I was on private rural property, so I didn't need to be concealed.) I did a full sprint back to my vehicle for about 150 yards and my XD didn't go anywhere.

Try that with a Blackhawk CQC Serpa. You could probably pick some one up by the gun grip if their pants of belt didn't break first. The only way the gun comes out is if you press the release lever.

Never a single retention problem with my XD all of my XD's are retained perfectly in my Supertuck with no fear of any of them ever falling out. Since it is concealed I don't believe anyone will be trying to snatch it from my side.Buy the Supertuck and you won't be sorry. If you holster any pistol on a daily basis sooner or later the finish will show signs of wear then you can send the slide off and have it refinished.

Never had an issue with mine, never even had to adjust the tension screw. I have never been concerned about it either, fits snug. Just about any holster would have the same potential as you suggest, not an issue you should worry about, it's fine IWB.
