ive known this girl (Lola) since HS and im 24 now, so you do the math. anyways, shes a cool gal and all, but a little.. whats the word? CRAZY! haha! j/k! i can kinda see where she comes from, but i think it more or less, stems from a motherly sense. (she has a young daughter)

i want her to shake the "sheeple" mentality, but i dont think itll ever happen. i just hope she never has to question her beliefs when shes in a life threatening situation.

No offense to your lady friend. I don't know her. Sounds a tad out there. But some have a ssurvival instinct some don't. Although I was kinda taken aback by her almost flat out saying she would stand there and do nothing to save her daughters life if it required her to take anothers life.

I am not wired that way. I will defend my family against an agressor by any means necessary. I will accept the concequences after they are safe.

She would let someone kill her daughter before she would lift a finger to defend her. Definately wierd but thats how gun fearing people act, they don't know how guns operate and dont care to learn how so they are always afraid of guns. There really isn't anything you can do aobut them kinds of people. She is saying she doesnt care what happens as long as she doesnt have to hurt anyone, that's pretty wierd, not the right emotions in her thoughs.

well, she said shed defend, just not kill the assailant(or have anyone use a gun in defense) and this sort of thinking boggles me too. its kind of why i posted this. she says she hates "guns" and not the "owners"... but the simple fact of the matter is, guns are HERE and bad guys are HERE. i cant help but picture me in a situation with her where someones attacking us and when i pull out my XD, shed try and hit it out of the way to let "nature take its course." its crazy!

i do agree with you btw, Ishpeck. she does seem comfortable with her portrayed thinking.. but i doubt that it would hold true through an "actual" experience. maybe not though? maybe shed become even more anti-gun through a real experience.
