It's legal in Missouri, and I do it quite often. Some day I just don't feel like going concealed.

I do about 50% of the time. Just depends on what I'm doing and where I'm going. But when I have no issues to speak of.

While I wouldn't see myself doing it, I wish it were legal here in Florida... I heard they were trying to establish an open carry law around here, but honestely I don't see it happening anytime soon if ever.

We had a nice lunch yesterday in Palmyra PA (the Harrisburg/Hershey area). A group of about 45 (including children) got together at a restaurant. I didn't do a count of exactly how many were open carry, but most of the adults were....

In the last couple weeks I have been open carrying from my house to my buddies house when we are going to the range. I havent yet open carried threw the main down town area here, mostly because I dont have much of a reason to go to the main down town area since my GF doesn't work there any more. I have had a few of the white trash people in my neighborhood yell stuff at me, but nothing threating... just stuff like "OH ****! somethings going down!"

It's legal here, but never have had anyone give me a good reason to show everyone I have a gun.

hey there Kratzer, i live up north in Monroe Country, moved out here when i was 5 from Long Island , NY, and I'm turning 23 this year. So its safe to say i'm a true pennsylvanian(i like this place much better than NY), what im getting at though is in my 18 years or so of living here in PA I have NEVER seen anyone Open Carry, except LEO's and Gunshop owners, but only inside their shop. Living in the Poconos, I imagine the large influx of people from the tri-state area probably had some influence on why I havent seen OC in this area. I'd be interested in doing it myself, ive seen several posts on this thread stating you dont even need a CCW to carry openly. If i were to go through with that I would like to find the actual legal documents with the written law just to cover my ass. I guess ill ask my professor tommorow where i can obtain those, he was a DA for 20 years or so out the northeast pa area.

Let me throw something else up here fast, PA Open Carry .org. alot of info regarding PA law on open carry and what not. however it mentions "Cities of the First Class: Philadelphia", you must have a LCTF (license to carry firearm). Is this the same thing as CCW permit? One of the reasons im bothering getting a CCW is so when i go visit friends who live in the Philly area i'll feel a little safer knowing i can defend myself in the sh*tty areas that college kids can afford. I'm a PA resident. thanks for any help

Heres a neat video i found on the website from a local news station out in Eerie. YourErie.com Media Player

here in NM it's legal, and I OC most of the time, especially when I am out late, I do of course leave it in the car when going into some bldgs but for the most part my gun goes where I go.
