animanls are funny
So i was down in what i call the "bootleg" on my property...its about a 25 yard wide strip of land inbetween some woods and the illinois bayou. due to a flood last year the bayou is huge and has like a 15 foot cliff down to it so its really cool now...even though it whiped out my tire swing....anyways....i pistol shoot down there sometimes so i have lots of steel targets and such set up and its pretty fun.
i was shooting for about 20 minutes when a beaver got curious and started climbing up the cliff and started sniffing around. it came within like ten feet of me...looked at me and then slowly turned around to head back into the bayou. or so he thought. so i plugged him cut off his tail and left him on the bank of the bayou. the very next night i went down in the bootleg to check pig traps and look for armaduches!!! and there was MONSTER beaver laying on top of the dead beaver...it didnt even run off when i came near. so i plugged him too! this beaver you will never believe....65 lbs!!! it was a monster. |

Probably the only beaver you've got in a long time!
(Somebody had to pull that joke out!) |

Why would you kill it and leave it there? Do they dam up a steam and flood your property?
