Mike Packwood, aka Parabellum is a tool. He has serious delusions of grandeur. His entire identity is wraped up in Sigforum. In 2006 he walked around SHOT like he was gods gift to guns. He even had someone carry his bag around for him like a willing minion. Enough to make anyone hurl.
There was another forum spawned from Sigforum by previously banned folks.
Cannot find server - www.2aforum It had like 400 members it's first few days.
Yes, it's his forum, BUT it doesn't make it right for him to treat people like crap. That alone is bad enough, but he edits and deletes posts so he never looks bad.
He and I went head to head over a year ago. I made him look like crap right up until he edited my posts and then banned me. Cute trick. He was so pissed he even blocked my work and home IP addresses.
He loves to jump on new folks. He never has the sack to address you head on, he always "alludes" to some violation of a never seen "waiver". He drops obscure hints that he disapproves of something you wrote and then when you don't pick up on it, he jumps your ****.
I agree with Nikon, we lose touch some good people.
The reason hotmail, aol, and yahoo can't sign on is that he wants to avoid formerly banned people from coming back. He has so many enemies he can't keep track.
Sig does have a rep on the board, but they couldn't care less what he does.
Bruce Gray, who is a very good, if over priced and slow, gunsmith is also on the board.
Having Bruce Gray and the rep form Sig are his only claims to fame. If those two jumped ship, he'd not feel so important.

Oh, that reminds me. He doesn't care much for people with... great tans. The more "tan" you are, the more he doesn't like you.
It's very sad that Sig Sauer allows their employees to post there IN SUPPORT of the forum.
You can also visit the M&P forum with this info. He' s not well thought of over there either.
