Holster review

Upon the advice of some forum members, I purchased a "Cozy Partner" holster made by Desantis. originaly, I ordered the wrong size, it fit a 3" gun and mine is a 4" gun. I've had the hoster now and worn it for 2 days. Its VERY comfortable, I have worn it sitting at my desk as well as a considerable amount while driving. It stays put and locks onto your belt loop. I find that using a 1 1/2 instead of a 1 1/4 belt helps it to ride better in my britches. As you can see in the picture, the holster blocks the thumb safety from inadvertantly being moved into the fire position. I have an OWB holster by Desantis (speed Scabbard) that does the same thing and I find it a refreshing addition to the design. This particular holster is for a commander sized gun but is also listed and designed for a full sized 1911. I highly recommend this holster and I may be ordering another one for my 642 as well. It conceals pretty well under a loose shirt and has a pretty aggresive cant. Due to the sight protruding with a radical cant, I normaly prefer a more straight up holster but this doesnt seem to be an issue with this one.
Anyways, i thought I would post a review for those of you looking to pick up something for your summer carry options.

Looks like a fine holster. That thumb safety thing is cool. I didn't realize they had the sweat shield, a must for me.

Looks great.
