Wink Tax Rebate

Tax Rebate

The other morning, President Bush signed the law that entitles each of us who paid taxes (and some who didn't!) to get a $600.00 tax rebate. It was previously slated to be $800.00, but they dropped it to a $600.00 tax rebate because of various budget problems.

Now, if we spend that money at Wal-Mart, all the money will go to China; if we spend it on computers, most of the money will go to Korea or India. If we spend it on gasoline it will all go to the those countries that export oil to us.

None of these scenarios will help the American economy.

We need to keep that money here in America .....so the only way to keep that money here at home is to drink beer, gamble, or spend it on prostitution

Currently it seems that these are the only businesses still left in the U.S.

(I guess Governor Spitzer was really just trying to help out the economy!).

This is PV, even though you haven't marked it as such. So, this should go in the Political Forum.

LOL...posted the same thing an hour ago or so ....clearly (i thought) differentiated it from the rest of my post by using a different font and a smiley at the end. "Judge" of course jumped on me to tell me I was wrong. Which always makes me feel good no matter the topic!!!!

BTW anyone able to access the new political forum?

Peace,
D.

Not the content. I'm just an organization Nazi. And, I don't like it when people try to get around the rules like Hacker is doing by trying to make it seem like his comment is a joke.

It not a rebate...it is income redistribution. this kind of plan usually comes from the Kremlin, not DC.

...and you're welcome!
