Just got my Glock back!
Hi Guys,
Just an update on my Glock that died
I contacted Glock in Smyrna Ga. and told them all about it and about using handloads and asked if they would check it to see if it was repairable? They were very nice and said to send it in and they would check everything for me.
Well I just got it back...Completly rebuilt except for the Slide itself. Even the internals IN THE SLIDE were replaced!....Cost?....$120 plus tax and return shipping via UPS. I just took it to the range and it shoots as good a when I first got it...250 rnds with no FTF, FTE or jams of any kind!
Now I have 2 G-21's Both look new ...one with O.D. green frame and one without. I think I will send the slide off and do an O.D. grn Perma Kote on it. So 1 will be O.D. frame and Black slide and 1 with Black frame and O.D. grn slide!...yes, life IS goood !
