The dvd said some of it was shot in Marfa, Texas. I don't know where they filmed in New Mexico any ideas?

Didn't care for the story. Too many things didn't add up.

It seemed as though the writers, directors, and editors where more into creating individual scenes placed in interesting locations in rural Texas, with cleaver snippets of dialog, rather than producing a coherent story. Then, they just didn't have a clue on how to end it. So, they come up with that baloney at the end.

IMHO It was a good, entertaining movie, but not a great movie.
Loved this movie. I can see why some wouldn't think it was a coherent story due to the style of the Cohen brothers. It made absolute sense to me none the less.

I sat through and watched this movie...waiting for when it was going to get good...and it never did. My wife ended up taking off half way through to take a bath. There was some good scenes but over all I just felt like it started out slow..and kept the same pace through out. And really didn't get anyplace in the course of its travels.

For me...the fact that he was doing work with a supressed semi-auto shotgun was enough to keep me watching.

overall though i think it was slow...

The part right before the end was set in El Paso, filmed in Albuquerque near San Mateo and Central. The part where the hero checks into the old hotel and shoots it out at night with the BG was shot in Las Vegas, NM.
