I would call it a cowboy western type film that takes place in the early 1980's.

Good movie, the bad guy was really bad. Part of the movie was filmed in this area.

Fantastic film!

I love everyting the Coen brothers put out. Raising Arizona, The Hudsucker Proxy, Fargo, Oh, Brother Where Art Thou...they make some quirky and very different films.

Don't miss "3:10 to Yuma" or "We Own the Night" either...two more very powerful films.

My wife and sister saw it, said it sucked. Different strokes, I guess. It was great up until the point I had to go break into my son's car.

Didn't care for the story. Too many things didn't add up.

It seemed as though the writers, directors, and editors where more into creating individual scenes placed in interesting locations in rural Texas, with cleaver snippets of dialog, rather than producing a coherent story. Then, they just didn't have a clue on how to end it. So, they come up with that baloney at the end.

IMHO It was a good, entertaining movie, but not a great movie.

True, but most of it was filmed in New Mexico

My wife loved (she's into the serial killer thing) and I didn't like it because a lot of things didn't add up. A lot of conversations that took place I was like, "What?!" I guess if I watched it again I might start to put some of the pieces together. And it was interesting that most of the movie didn't have music to it. Only like two clips during the whole thing.
