US Soldier throws puppy off cliff video

I guess I just don't understand why they did this.

If it was because the dog may have starved to death without an owner it doesn't seem like a mercy killing to me.

Maybe it made it to Digg because of all the positive dog adoption stories in the media lately. Not sure

I'll save judgement but it broke my heart to see this anyway.

For the record, I don't subscribe with much of the commentary below the movie link though. War is an ugly thing and can make good people do bad things sometimes. This was bad though.

I agree the video is stupid, but the dog was already dead. I have seen this months ago...

There are as many dogs over there as people. I shot about a million of them and they still are a problem.

I didnt throw any of them though.

It's just a bad video. Dead or not, why even pull the stunt, and even more so, why video tape it. Bad form...
