US to send 3,000 Marines to Afghanistan - looks like we are heading to Ashcanistan anyway. Commandant did not want to stretch the Corps more by sending us there but he must have been over ruled. Surprise, Surprise

My unit was the last Marine Corps unit in Afghan, then we left it to the Army, they said they didn't need the Marines anymore, and now they want us back? I think someone wasn't doing a good enough job.... not to point any fingers!

I think our Army and Special Ops guys are doing OK. Now, the United Nation Forces are again at their best when proving why the European Union was darn lucky to have us fighting the cold war!

I am sure they are. Also when we left Afghan the Army had control of the north, and NATO had the southern region of Afghan, maybe we are going there. I better start checking my mail regularly for my recall paperwork!
