Schwarzenegger proposes Amendment giving governor tyrant's power over budgets. If he has the power to cut a budget midyear by himself then conceivably he would have the power to increase a budget midyear as well. Everything starts out small.

Schwarzenegger wants constitutional amendment for budget powers

(01-08 ) 10:30 PST SACRAMENTO, (AP) --
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger will use Tuesday's State of the State address to propose a constitutional amendment that would give him more power over state spending.


The governor has not spelled out details of his proposal. But aides have said he wants to be able to cut the budget in the middle of the year when revenues are falling and bank surpluses in years when tax receipts come in higher than expected.


The state is facing a $14 billion budget gap over the next 18 months. Schwarzenegger will formally declare a fiscal state of emergency this week to deal with the shortfall in the current year's budget.


The constitutional amendment is aimed at controlling future budget shortfalls.

Cougar hunting is a rush especially once you get them tree'd. Never killed one myself yet always been the packing chump. I think next winter I'm finally in line to go hopefully. All my family has their Tom skins mounted on the wall. It's sickening to see those and know I packed most of them out of the hill. 3 winters ago my cousin got a Tom that was like 15-20lbs off the state record.

All I have ever killed, game wise, is 3 deer and a lot of dove. But I see my hunting seasons freeing up very much now that my contract is up!

I actually like the taste a lot. Can't describe it, no it's not like chicken though. It's definitely a tougher meet kinda like rabbit. You've never killed a prairie dog??
