I can't believe it's 2:00 already. I'm just eating lunch now. We ordered from that stupid grocery store deli down the street again, but at least it's a free meal. I got the "Platter #1" special today (swedish meatballs w/ flat noodles). It's ok. Nothing awesome... I'm glad it's not MY money....

Remember that huge report I talked about last week, that we busted our a$$es on? It's still sitting here.. waiting for the big boss man to look it over one last time. Ugh!!! Why'd I kill myself over getting that thing done last week if it's STILL going to be "looked over" another time tomorrow??

Anyone else work in a place like that? Here, we need to get this report done, so HURRY! Hurry up and wait. WTF? It's like way too many eyes have to see something before it get ssent to a client. It's counter-productive almost.

Oh well, I still like working here. Lots of "perks" and easy-going supervisors and an awesome owner. I may b!tch a lot, but I wouldn't want to work anywhere else.

I had free lunch today too. It was only -10F outside and no one wanted to leave the office. I walked across the street to get lunch for myself, but someone gave me money to get him something as well. He paid for my lunch fetching service by purchasing my meal as well.

Yes, I do. but, I never get a free lunch, so least your place treats its people with respect and actually shows they care.

Im constantly getting 'high priority' work orders... I have to get all the circuit paths tested before turn up date, I bust my hump building the paths, configuring, and testing them to make sure all is set prior to turn up day... I crank out the orders just as fast as they come in, do my portion and then it sits in the turn up que for a week! go figure...Not easy building a T1 that goes thru a DS3, which rides an optical circuit such as an OC48... there is alot of configuring, hops, and stops from point A to Z...and then it sits!
