Yep, I've got to finish an article and have it proofed and to the editor by Friday, I have my monthly report due (but don't have budget info from my CFO yet), I have a project planning meeting, a meeting with Residential Life, and I started my OSHA 10 and 30 hour general industrial training that I need to do a module or two on...other than that, just killing time chatting with you.

How about you? Much in store?

No - I think you have enough to do for both of us!

I am going over to the Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind Christmas Party this morning. My division bought presents for a the children and Santa delivers them to them today. This is the first time that I have not been traveling during the party. I imagine it will be an emotional experience but I am looking forward to it.

Enjoy that experience. I think those things that touch us the deepest are the most important in our lives. Being in a position to help out those in need is a great thing.

Our department has taken on a charity that supports an orphanage in the Bahama's...the pictures from that place are truly distressing...anything we can do to help out brings joy to the reciepients!
