I saw somebody talking about my favorite ex-atheist and I had to re-read the previous pages. One of the most brilliant theological minds we were graced with in the 20th century, and a terrific and entertaining writer, too.

BTW: I'd be happy to smoke a stogie with you (if I didn't dislike smoking in general), and share some brew (if I actually liked beer). Other than not really liking either pasttime on a personal level, I've got no problems with them.

There are some alcoholic drinks I enjoy; I could just never seem to acquire a taste for beer. I think I'm disappointing my Germanic ancestors, but so be it.

I must be getting older because I am getting tired of all of the legalism in some circles of Christianity. Even the Libs are legalistic and won't admit it.
I had a guy come to me today and was happy that someone would just listen and talk to him with out passing judgement on his past. He had been in some deep poo (trouble with the law, drugs and everything else) He just wanted someone to care, not tell him he was a terrible person for getting in the trouble in the first place. I pray that I can make a differnce by just being there.
