Yeah, they actually cut DOWN 2 trees yesterday. It took them a whole day to cut down 2 trees, chip most of them, and gather up the big tree trunk pieces.

Today they're back just trimming other trees. But they've been here half a day to trim 2 other trees.

Maybe it's just me and my lack of tree cutting/trimming experience, but I think they're so freakin' slow and unorganized!!!

+1 hourly job. Milk the time.

I would laugh if one of them reads this thread. He'd be like "Holy sh!t, that's me!" LOL...

bwwwahahahahhaaaaaaaa

I don't even WANT to know how long it'll take them to remove the 2 stumps that are still there. From what I know, the owner is putting a new driveway through that area of his property, so those 2 trees had to go. hopefully they'll remove the stump and roots professionally, or else the owner will have roots/trees growing through his new driveway... LOL

.....

and +1 to this thread NOT being about post count. I don't really care what my count is. Besides, the more posts I make, the more frequent my Karma's are for you guys/gals.

and it's snowing again....

Doing great, it was rough for a week or so. Pretty much back to norm. Thanks for asking. Now if I could just get the rest of my ducks in a row I would be great.

We had a little snow last night, just enough to dust the ground. Funny thing is that the snow we had just melted yesterday.

I just spent 45 minutes getting caught up again. I've got to start reading daily. Ice still on the ground and snow expected this weekend in SW OK. Turning into a good winter. Interesting Chili recipes and Dave, I'm enjoying the saga of the tree trimmers!

Sermon8r- Cool used to live in Nashville and Murfreesboro. Went to college in Nashville. Love that area, free music galore. Christian, country, rock, jazz, etc. If I could find a good federal job there, I'd move in a heartbeat.

And now, the tree guys are "cleaning" up some smaller branches. One guy used a rake and swept it all onto the driveway. OK, no problem. Guy #2 took his big plastic rake, and used it like a shovel to scoop a bunch of small branches up and take over to the truck. OK, no problem. Guy #3 uses HIS plastic rake to push the rest of the pile over to the truck. Needless to say when he got there, the pile he was pushing was much much smaller since almost all of it oozed in between the slats of the rake. He must be the intern. LOL... NOW, there's a nice brown line of small tree parts next running along the almost white outline of wood dust on the driveway. Not to mention another new area of crud in the driveway, too.

Must be break time. Two of them are standing in the middle of the driveway. One is pretending that the rake is an oar, and he's in a boat or something... Why don't they pick up the tool one of them drug along the ground w/ a big branch???

and just so you don't think I'm making this stuff up:

Play-by-play summary:

Break time antics...

sorry for the "blurry" picture, but I had to take them through the window screen at work. The brown debris line is clear as day in person. The picture doesn't do it justice.

And before anyone asks: Yes, I'm bored at work. LOL.... Spying and reporting to you guys is much more fun!

and yes, that IS a cargo container in the driveway. The owner had it put there a few months ago.... I have no idea what's in it. but for right now, it's making a great step stool for the tree cutter guys. Who needs a ladder!?
LOL

wow, those pics are priceless.... seems like a whole lot of nothing going on over there. Since the owner of this house is your neighbor, do you talk to him? have you asked where in gods name he found these yo-yo's?
