And with this, I bid you all a fond
Three Thousand Five Hundred posts. Posts, mostly about nothing, but occasionally I do have a stroke of logical thought and can translate that into the written form here. Sometimes, my written thoughts are even pertinent to the ongoing conversation. At this time, I would like to say, I started this thread because there was/is a member here on the forum who was /is always diss'ing newb's with low post counts (he/she stated that a low post count indicated a lack of knowledge of guns) and others who couldn't spell the word "HI" if their life depended on it, much less compose a coherent sentence. With this members constant ripping of those with low post counts or lack of spelling ability, I felt that those very same people needed some place to at least jack up their post count, and viola! This thread was started. I figured it would hopefully make about 10, maybe 20 pages and then die. Little did I know that some of you would attach themselves to this thread as you have. And I thank you all. it has been a great place to come and see what others are thinking and or going through in their lives. It has truly become a place of "sitting and sharing some time with some friends". New ones come , old ones go and come back, and not one argument has been had here. Thank you. On a different note, I take this time to confess to you all, there is a member on the forum that befuddles me as he/she has yet to write a post with proper spelling in it. I am a terrible speller, but am intelligent enough to make use of spell checker most of the time. I mention this now because, ah, there's no real reason other then I am waiting for the oven to heat up so I can make some onion rings, and I felt like sharing some useless piece of information with everyone here. So, with that being said, who is having what for dinner? We're having cheddar wurst hot dogs (filled with cheddar cheese, 30 grams of fat wrapped in a bun) and onion rings and cheese sticks. Maybe a beer or two and some fruit juice (V8 stuff is pretty good).

Ah... just finished dinner and it was a cheap and easy Mac & Cheese with leftover ham cubes (from Christmas)
I think I'll throw a few beers in the freezer and pop on a movie. Nothing like a nice Yeungling and kicking up my feet. ![]() I dug some post holes today... (wow, when was the last time you could say that in January) gotta love the rocky PA soil. I bent the blade on one.

I think that's a fine idea. Working as much as you are, you need to take a little "me" time. And if the torn-up hand hurts too much, practice some with the weak hand. There's always a way to shoot.

Sigh, I leave for a couple days and I have to read sooo much just to catch up.
Well, I went snowboarding yesterday. Is there alcohol in Red Bull? There might be because I was totally weird out on the way home. |

Do you need to do something special in order to have an avatar?

Mmmm....ham cubes. I helped my FIL dig some fence post holes at his place up in the mountains a while back. Twelve hours with a jackhammer is plenty work for anybody.
