Being sick really sucks. Spent Christmas day in the trown room. Thought I was better on tues. Then was so sick had to go to the doc yesterday. Comes out I got Strep Throat that is almost Pneumonia. I am out for the count. Was supposed to do a funeral today had to find someone to do that for me. No way I can even function. I think that Sunday is out as well.

On Wednesday, I got to go in to the city and put a little more $ on my Cougar 8000 that is on lay-away. If I knew I was that sick I would have waited. Right now we are not insured. That sucks as well. Thought we could just change out address to our insurance and they made us reapply then canceled/rejected my wife and I. Thankfully the kids are covered. The problem is that I ussually end up with pneumonia at least once during the winter. Have had to be hospitalized twice for it. No supposed to be happening I am only 38. I guess that is a warning to guys who smoke. I haven't since my mid 20's but I grew up with a dad that still rolls his own. That is why my lungs are trashed.

I think I will be doing nothing beside sitting in my chair, watching movies and drinking alot of liquids (the un-fun ones, although a hot brandy w/ honey sounds kinda good)

I pray I can get over this crappy crud.

I just noticed that I'm almost to 2000 posts, which may mean that it's soon time for another CAD/GIS Karma. ... even though I'm not even done with the last Karma winners' prizes!!! Well, 2 out of 3 of them anyway.

Extra time is NOT usually on my side.

Thankfully I got over my cold last week in time to feel well for Christmas...and Mrs. So Flo is smart enough to sleep in one of the girls rooms when I am sick so she does not get the crud.

Aajames is supposed to be shipping my modded 1911 GI today....I'll post pics as soon as I get it...new desert digital camoflage job as well as all new Ed Brown controls! He tells me I am going to love it!

I do enjoy those Star Wars movies. It's one of my favorite series. There are a LOT of good life lessons to learn from them. Even if you're not religious, there are great messages and lessons to learn about life, people, power, etc etc....
