I'm not sure if the Pastor's wife made it or just painted it, but it semi resembles a demented version of the taco bell Chihuahua.

We had some cookies that we decorated with icing, sprinkles, and such. Quite a few good entries and some that were an abomination. But a fun time was had by all, and I didn't even ruin my suit.

Good morning everyone! hope you all had a Merry Christmas!!!

I *so* did NOT want to get up and go to work today. But I'm back in the office. Ugh. It's about 48 outside and rainy. Same with yesterday, too. Rainy. Certainly not a snowflake in sight. Oh, well.

Saturday was spent shopping. *shudder* ... 'nuff said about that.

Christmas Eve was ok. I spent most of the day (up to 3:00pm) wrapping presents, cleaning, and putting up the tree. (I hate putting the tree together and putting the lights on. That's the most annoying part of the whole tree thing). Then I took a shower and got dressed "up" for a party at my fiancee's Grandmother's house. It was fun. Had some really good food.

On Christmas morning my plans changed. My fiancee was going to come along with me to visit my parents for the day, but my fiancee woke up sort of "sick" and not feeling up to going anywhere. Which (technically) worked out becuase my Mom wasn't feeling all that great yesterday, either. So, my fiancee and I hung out at my house all day. She unwrapped presents from me in the morning, and we sat on the couch all day and watched TV, movies, and football. We eventually fell asleep on the couch, and woke up about 1:00am. Then I took her home.

And here I am. At work. On a crappy rainy day. I get to finish my maps of the regional railroad stuff for a proposal going out soon. Happy time. At least the big boss isn't here (not yet anyway).

Enjoy this short week everyone! Hope you all had a Merry Christmas.

Three words: Pre-lit tree. I will never string lights again! Unless, of course, you have a real tree. They haven't figured out how to pre-light those yet!

Oh, and Merry Christmas everyone! 11 days of Christmas left!

Might be fun to do something like that...let people test their creative sides.

I would like to get one of those pre-lit real trees, maybe you should look into it? I want mine already decorated as well - can you make that happen?

Well, made it through a Christmas in the "Throne Room" finaly feeling better. Decided it was better to stay home than to feel miserable at the office. Might have to travel tomorrow so not exactly looking forward to that.

BTW - is it too early to set up a list for next Christmas?
