Nope, no B&BW for me (thank God! When I was there, I saw NOTHING that I even remotely wanted for myself. It's 100% a chick's store)... luckily I got something every guy would want.... food-related gifts!

I got a tin of Smores/Rocky road candy, and a "bag" of Ghiradelli's "milk chocolate w/ caramelized almonds" Squares. Yummy.

Never mind that one of them brought in Dunkin' Donuts donuts and some egg nog for breakfast! This was AFTER I already had Pop-Tarts and hot chocolate for my "first" breakfast. LOL.

Looks like I'm going to gain about 15 pounds in the next 2 days. But, it is worth it. I have a sweet tooth that just can't be tamed!

Rev...I was just saying to a friend how no one goes caroling any more, then I have a guy in teh office say they went and you as well...both of you went to nursing homes! Very gracious of you and your church group to do that...sharing the love at this time of year is nice! (Probably something we all need to do a little more of throughout the year!)

You gotta watch out for those computer viruses floating around! Hence, the protection.

If it's any consolation, I've only been sick for a couple days, and I think I've pretty much got this thing beat, so hopefully yours won't be bad either. I didn't even need any medicine yesterday except a bit to help me sleep.

Me too - I'm coming off a sugar buzz from yesterday that's got me feeling cranky this morning. Today I swore off cookies for the holidays. I think I'm an idiot for doing so, but drastic times call for drastic measures!

Swore off cookies?? Are you insane? Of all the "sweets" that are out there, cookies go hand-in-hand with Christmas!! (Some of you may associate fruitcake w/ this time of year... I have one word for you: iieew. OK, more words: iew iew iiieewwww iiewwww...). Maybe it was the fact that my parents would always bake a bunch of different cookies for Christmas. Hmmm....

I'm gonna make more of those awesome carrot cake cookies (that one of our own shared the recipe with us) and take them to my fiancee's Christmas Eve party.
