I figured I'd leave the possibility of another HS2000 open if I have some more disposable income.

I really don't like their parts policy. I suspect the situation will change after the patent expires.

Does anyone know when the patent was applied for the 3rd Generation HS2000s?

Has anybody seen it?

IF I could ever talk my wife into carrying, that is what I would get for her. (She often talks about wanting to shoot and carry, but when it comes time to pull the trigger [pun intended], she backs out.)
No, I haven't, but I did shoot an Airweight, and I had trouble with it! Beat the heck out of my trigger finger. At least the P3AT is thin, so my wife could actually carry it. She's shot my XD40 before, and liked it enough, but she needs something smaller if she's going to carry it. I figure it will not be long til she gets an all-metal Kahr or something (to tame the recoil), but if I'm going to buy it behind her back, , I want something inexpensive!

300th conversation! Yes!

I figure, as long as I'm posting useless stuff, I might as well start the 300th conversation! Go ahead, prove me wrong!!

( I love how there are 10 or so conversations happening at once on this thread!)

A friend of mine has a P3AT and he carries it in his front pocket 99% of the time. The gun's easy enough to shoot, and you can't tell if he's carrying it without patting him down.

The only thing I don't like is the 6 round magazine. I'd definately want a spare.

Love the movie and love the series (Firefly) that it was based on. I have the box set of episodes.

That is kind of the point with this thread.

All in all I'm very fond of glock pistols..........except for all the people who's first and only pistol is a glock. People who say things like " if it ain't a glock it's sh!t". You know the types; the ones who reply to threads that ask "which 1911 should I buy?" with stupid F-ing replies like "1911's suck get a G21".
People piss me off.
Been there, I hate it that just you did not spend 1k+ for your 1911, or hunting rifle, makes you a less than ....whatever hunter/shooter/marksman. My Dad used to take an old Stevens .22 and fall a porcipine from 200+ yrd with iron sights. Most amazing thing I ever saw. Cost of the gun dosn't make the man.
