Maybe if I make it to 500 I won't feel like such a LOSER.

They are a good, Christian, company. They close on Sunday's, they contribute and/or work with local schools, and treat their employees well.
One of the major reasons why they get my business when I'm in the area. And they put pickles on chicken sandwiches...who woulda thunk it?

I wish that they made it a little further north. Just like I wish there was a Sonic close by. Closest I know of are in Iowa, and then I think there are only two in the state.

OK I know that a the glock is a great gun, but really it is the name, the fact that it is German, or that they are overpriced that makes them so great?
Some people don't like the ergonomics of glock pistols, but if you can get used to the grip angle they are great guns. I have owned a number of glocks over the years and they all have been very, very reliable.
Decent accuracy, and I've found that the grip angle gives me less muzzle flip/quicker follow up shots.
All in all I'm very fond of glock pistols..........except for all the people who's first and only pistol is a glock. People who say things like " if it ain't a glock it's sh!t". You know the types; the ones who reply to threads that ask "which 1911 should I buy?" with stupid F-ing replies like "1911's suck get a G21".
People piss me off.

They also do have a remarkable record for reliability over the past 20(?) years of use, and the parts policy from the factory has made it relatively easy to get bits and pieces without a big headache. Are you listening, SA?
I'd be totally honest in saying that if the XD hadn't come along the way it did, I'd probably be a pretty happy Glock owner. I might not frequent that forum they have, but I don't hold that against the gun.

And Krackels, you don't need to underbake your cookies for them to be soft... just use a better recipe! LOL... just bustin' on ya!!
You don't underbake them so much as you don't bake them until they're crisp. Crispy cookies are good for dunking in milk though.
I missed it
Oh well... I enjoyed my dinner.

We should all boycott SA until they make parts available to the public.
I'm not gonna buy another Springfield Armory gun until parts for the XD are available.

I figured I'd leave the possibility of another HS2000 open if I have some more disposable income.
I really don't like their parts policy. I suspect the situation will change after the patent expires.
Does anyone know when the patent was applied for the 3rd Generation HS2000s?
