They would ignore traps everywhere else but peanut butter on a trap next to the fridge eventually moved them on to their next life quite nicely. You might watch the cats though, they protest a bit if they get a paw or tongue in a mousetrap.
The two traps I have are dog/cat proof with the business end enclosed. The traps will stay there, as will the poision. I know there are more, there always are.
Good will prevail

DEATH TO MICE!!!!

yea, i'm tripp'in.

Good morning. yeah I don't care for mice a whole lot. Had one fall on my bare foot after opening a cabinet. I can still feel his little claws peeling out on my foot trying to get away.(9yrs ago in GA) There's my second story of an encounter with a wild animal.
I learned to tweek those traps because some of those little guys are crafty and could lick the PB off without getting caught. I set them so sensitive that I could barely set them down!

I second your proclamation: DEATH TO MICE!!

I need to get one of those airsoft guns, sounds fun!

Nice work on dispatching the mouse!

The shot placement/caliber debate will continue for many pages here due to your actually hitting the critter and having him not go down.

I carry a KelTec P32 and always felt comfortable in my stance that it is shot placement followed by rounds impacting the target that will do the trick!

Now you point out that a BB shot squarely into the forehead of a small vermin merely dazes and confuses them...(so flo wanders off, mumbling to himself...what am I gonna do now...what am I gonna do now...)

On an added note, we try not to poison them down here...they get up in the attic or in the walls and die...leaving a very gnarly stench. I am sure with the cold up north it is a bit different result.

Yea, up here it's ok to use the poision when it's cold out and the body drys out fairly quick, thus reducing the odor.

We were just watching Scooby Doo in the family room and heard more (shudder) mice.

Lock and load boyz, here comes the mice exterminator and his trusty Berretta air soft gun, strapped in his shoulder holster, flashlight in hand. Hunting them down like, like, the vermin they are.

bwa ha ha ha ha
