I thought people would be happy with the idea, but I guess not. I guess I'm the only one who would prefer not to scan through 2 pages of "stuff" to get a response to a conversation. I noticed that, but the Valtro 1998A1 is awesome. There are many other guns which I thought people would enjoy.

But it is a little interesting that he has a picture of a Steyr and the new FN 5.7 but no XD.

I'll tell you, the classic lines of the 1911, I just cannot look at them enough...sort of an odd obsession, not unlike being able to appreciate the detail that makes up female beauty (most, but certainly not all).

Happy Wednesday...have a four day weekend ahead, and after the day I had yesterday, I need some time off.

I am managing a roofing project on our campus' main administration building...so the constant complaints that people are going to "die" from the odor of roofing tar is painful enough, but add to that that our a/c contractor decided it was alright to shut down and move two a/c units that serve our main phone and computer server rooms at the same time. This was contrary to our initial plan and was a decision of convenience for the contractor.

The result was that our phone system locked up due to the heat and the IT folks had to shut down the entire network to keep the servers from overheating...needless to say I was on the receving end of a number of very heated calls regarding what happened and reminded time and again of how much the outage was costing the institution...

I needed a drink when I got home, instead, we enjoyed supper with the family then I took them out for ice cream, in spite of it being so cold here!
