Well, I'm up, showered, dressed, and have a full tummy... Gonna be going down to pick up the fiancee and take her shopping for a pair of riding boots. Then some lunch, and then out to the horse farm to get some training for our new friend "Ace" (a buckskin Tennesee Walking Horse stallion), before riding him. This is going to be so much fun. I'll be taking pictures (of course)....

Enjoy your weekend, guys!!! I know I'm going to enjoy mine!!

Went to a church small group dinner last night, the girls are off at some scrapbook party for the morning, and I'm killing time on the computer while Mrs. So Flo rearranges the living room furniture. (...don't make eye contact and she won't press me into service!)

We are driving an hour away this evening to go to dinner at Steak and Ale or Bennigans. I was given $50 gift card last Christmas by a company down in Ft. Lauderdale...I guess they did not think that there were none of these restaurants up in Palm Beach county. So, instead of letting them go to waste, we're making the trek for something to do.

Otherwise, a quiet weekend around the house. It is beautiful here, low in the upper 50's last night and a high in the low 70's today...gotta love the sub-tropics!

Balmy 41 degrees, with a wind chill of 38 degrees, overcast, but at least no rain/snow today. It's rained so much lately that I feel like I need to build a ark.

Sorry guys, but I should have known I'd create a little stir with the local weather report.

If it helps any, our pool temp is 71 degrees, much to cold to swim in!

However, our new pastor is from Rhode Island and the house they are renting has a pool, the whole family has been swimming...I guess it is all relative to what you are accostomed to!
