Wayne LaPierre from the National Rifle Association now has a Podcast and video Podcast. I haven't subscribed yet, but it's supposed to be really good. I think it's a short daily podcast with a feature that's something like news you didn't hear, dealing with armed citizens and what not. Here are the RSS links: This is the audio Podcast RSS http://www.nranews.com/rss/rss-audio.xml This is the blog RSS http://www.nranews.com/rss/rss.xml# This is the video RSS http://www.nranews.com/rss/rss-video.xml

The audio podcasts are actually very nice. 2minutes (a little more than 1mb) chock full of good firearm rights news.

![]() On a happier note, as of today, I'm officially legal to drive big heavy things with air brakes as long as they aren't connected to something else by a fifth wheel or other device (Class B CDL). I know exactly enough to be really dangerous, so keep your eyes open if you're on the sidewalks in Phoenix.

I bought a new holster last week.
My wife just found the receipt. I thought I would try something new. Instead of telling her what I bought or hiding what I bought, I just left it sit on the kitchen table for a week, I even put it on with her watching. Here is a copy of the email she and i have been trading about it. Yea, we're not "normal" ----------------------------------------- On Thu, 2 Nov 2006 15:43:00 -0500 "Mrs. TEC writes: > Babe, you'd better call xxxx debit card and get it > cancelled. Someone must have stolen it. I found a charge on online > banking today for $61.86 from xxxx. I don't remember hearing > anything recently about you going to xxxx- and you've been so > busy lately that I don't know when you would have found the time to > get there anyhow. You should probably file a police report, too, > for theft on the debit card. ----------------------------------------------- -- tec wrote: I just called them. They said they have pictures of the guy who used it. Tall, rather handsome, little plump around the middle. Great bootay. Disguinshed greying. They police know where he lives. They say he's cool, but his wife....... Is a LOVELY LADY! hehe What i bought has been sitting out on the kitchen table since I bought it, I have even worn it with you in the same room. I even put it on with you watching. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Mrs. TEC writes: You bought a thong????? ------------------------------------------------------------- TEC replies: yes Dear, it's a gun thong. For the gun that has everything, get it the gun thong. (start evil voice now) Gun thongs, when guns get crack ------------------------------------------------------- |

The Results Are In!
Rather than make a new thread for a mediocre job, I'll just post here in "Ol' Faithful"... Here's the scores from last weekend's match (the topmost on the page)... I got 4th overall... not bad for my 1st time ever. Ever. Oh, I already said that. I'm very pleased! I even shot the best overall on the final stage (a USPSA stage, "El Strong and Weak Presidente").
KICKASS! http://www.linncountyidpa.com/19001.html Edit: I'm Brian Fiddelke, btw. Last edited by chupacabrachus; 11-02-2006 at 07:14 PM. |

Here's the latest in the gun holster/thong post for Mrs TEC.:
---------------------------- Although a thong is a nice decoration, I prefer to see a gun without a thong. {wink, wink} ----------------------------- She's a wonderfull Lady |

If you consider yourself a person of faith...
I'd appreciate your prayers. My uncle is in the hospital undergoing tests. He appears to have similar symptoms of what my Grandfather had before he passed away (from stomach cancer).
He has 2 daughters, one's a senior in High School and the other is a few years younger, and a great wife. He's a great man, and it's hard to believe that he looked healthy as a horse a few weeks ago when I saw him last. This is a tough time for his family. He's a stubborn man and apparently put some of this off longer than he should've. Also my grandmother doesn't know yet and I don't think she'll take it well; she's still bitter from the death of her husband several years ago. And apparently the 'great' California health care system isn't helping. Stuff like getting several tests done at once and multiple referals to specialists apparently is a little too progressive for them.
