Everyone needs a revolver. It's the idiot proof gun.
Plus in PA it's the only handgun you can hunt with unless you're disabled (as in missing an arm/hand).

I'm looking for something to stuff in my pocket for the summer and there are almost too many choices. I'm not a fan of how the Kel-tecs feel...they just don't feel like good guns, but a lot of people like them. I can get a new P3AT for under $270 out the door and I'm thinking about it...or a Smith pocket J-frame.
TOTP
I'd recommend looking into the LCP too I saw on of those the weekend before last. Pretty nice gun.
My thing with the revolver is that they tend to be pretty big. although the sc smith models are amazingly light.

An LCP would be nice, but I need to do some research in the power of the ammo. A J-frame Smith would fit in the front pocket of most of my shorts just fine. So would the LCP. I would think .38+P would be better than .380
Another simple thing you may also want to try, get some polishing compound in the rail and frame, and assemble without the spring and rack the hell out of the slide for a bit, 1/2 hr or so.
RIA 1911s are such a generic base I am sure you will have no problem resolving this.
Good idea, Will. Been doing that with the grease but not the polishing compound - going to do it again with the compound. It is a very accurate pistol but frustrating to have those ftrb every so often.

True, but rule number one of gunfighting is bring a gun.
My rationale is that it's better to have a gun that I know I'll carry all the time than a better gun that I don't carry all the time.
If my dress code was more relaxed I'd carry my XD service everyday.
Okay, folks, I'm outta here.

Running down to Jersey to check out this computer system. It's a Dell Dimension 4600c. The hard drive is pretty small, but for the price it's worth it.

That's why I'm looking into something to carry over my XD45c. I want something for pocket carry so I don't have to wear an undershirt between the holster and my body all the time.
