And Sarge, you acutally have access to some wonderful rescue groups in your area- I would say some of the best. They aren't shelters....these people will actually take time and effort to ensure the dog you get is a perfect match. Pacific Northwest Pit Bull Rescue is a great one: Petfinder pet list - Pets at Pacific Northwest Pit Bull Rescue, Vancouver, WA

I will have to check them out! I was just in Vancouver this weekend! My uncle lives there.
